While some fawn over the triumphant shopping scene in which Julia, ahem, Vivian gets to serve up a "BIG MISTAKE" to some snooty retail associates,  our favorite scene in Pretty Woman will always be the scene in which Vivian unveils her stash of condoms and calls out their color and variety as if she's selling them like a hot dogs at a baseball game.  Yep, Viv, we're safety girls too.

If you haven't noticed, we're into condoms whether its trying a new brand or carefully following the exciting developments made to socialize condoms further in the world.  In a world where readily available and easily accessible contraception is so important, it wonderful to see companies and organizations out there doing what they can to meet the challenges.  In the Power Box, we included a Sir Richard's condom, a company that has it the scene in a big way since they started in 2011.

Ok so here are some stats on you Sir Richard's condom:

  • Made with natural rubber latex
  • No glycerin, paraben, petrochemicals or spermicides
  • They're vegan certified
  • They operate under a one for one model, meaning for every condom sold, they donate one to a developing country

On keeping your condoms nice and effective:

Store condoms in a cool (not cold), dry place. Condoms should NOT be stored in excess of 100 degrees or below 32 degrees F. Don’t store in direct sunlight, your car, or your wallet as this can compromise the efficacy.
