The Big Book of Submission

About The Big Book of Submission: 69 Kinky Tales

Firstly, yes, the number 69 is on purpose. It’s a playful homage to the sex position, but even more importantly, it’s gives you a taste of a wide range of stories all about BDSM and submission. As an editor, I welcome the opportunity to publish new writers--for several authors in the book, this is their first story in print--and give readers a broad taste of kinky erotica. This means you’ll find stories about spanking and bondage aplenty, alongside mental games and challenges you might not immediately association with BDSM.
I want The Big Book of Submission to be a book anyone with even a vague interest in erotica or kink can read and get something out of. I hope it appeal to people who loved Fifty Shades of Grey and hated Fifty Shades of Grey (for an example of the latter, check out “Story Time” by Inara Serene). These are not cookie cutter erotica stories. They are funny, intense and surprising. They’re about public nudity and the most private of sexual explorations. They’re about everyday situations (I particularly related to “Writer’s Block” by Kitten Boheme!) and ones that probably won’t happen to you.
Yes, there are dirty words in the book you’re about to read--I’m sure that won’t surprise you. But there’s also a whole lot more. One person who read the book said it’s about love, and it is, though not in the traditional happily ever romance sense necessarily. Love is embedded in these stories by the devotion the submissives show to the men and women they long to obey. Love is present when a top takes the time to plan out an elaborate scene, one they know will push all the right buttons, will hold their sub on the edge of fear, will make them do things they wouldn’t have believed possible--and like it. Love is present when each party looks at the other (or perhaps doesn’t because they’re blindfolded) and realized how deep their connection truly goes.
These stories can be considered flash fiction, meaning they are very short, each clocking in at 1,200 words or less. They each will take a few minutes to read, and you can skip around. I like the idea of reading a few at a time, or perhaps just one, and saving the rest for the next day. They are the perfect length to read out loud to a lover, or to read in a few stolen moments.
Please don’t mistake their brevity for any lack in quality, though. I made sure each story had a beginning, middle and end, and that each said something powerful about kink within the confines of an erotic tale. I’d love to hear what you thought of them too! Happy reading!
